In 2012, the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce tasked me with branding this one-day conference, which has since become one of their signature events. It was exciting to be part of the conversations around casting the vision for the event.
We created a visual identifier for the conference and a look and feel that creates some excitement around innovation. And, because the event is held annually in the fall but marketed during the summer, special care was taken to choose an appropriate color palette.
Having this identity in place has made it easier to promote the Innovate Conference from year to year and to secure speakers, sponsors, and other participants. By establishing this firm foundation, D Banzon Design helped this event to look fresh and to grow through changing themes even after 5 years.
