How do we get started?
Gathering Information
We believe that a lot of problems are rooted in a lack of clear communication. So we want to know what problems you are having. What are the obstacles you face in reaching your business goals. What do people need to know about your business? How are you different? We want to know who your audience is, who your competition is, your schedule, your budget, anything else you can tell us about your business. The better a picture we have, the better equipped we’ll be to reach your target.
Proposal
Once this first information-gathering phase is completed, we’ll talk about the most straightforward approach to executing the project. Then we'll put a proposal together outlining the steps and the estimated cost. Costs are based on the time invested in the project. Every effort will be made to stay close to the estimate and if anything needs to be adjusted, we'll let you know.
Presentation
Usually, we’ll present a first round of sketches in about a week’s time and then schedule a time when we can present to your project manager and any other decision makers. At this presentation, we will present various concepts and directions that we can discuss at length. We believe that the best solutions are the result of our collaboration with you, the client. We look forward to the point in the conversation when both of us are excited to see how it all comes together.
Execution
It will generally take another week to make adjustments and review the final piece. Usually from here on out we can send pdfs for reviewing. We'll give you some time to review it carefully and make sure that all the information is accurate. This process may take a few rounds to get everything just right. After you've signed off on the work, we prepare files for the printer. If it's a web site, the final layouts will be cut-up and made into templates for the content management system.
