Anxious to put design skills to use by helping the community, D Banzon Design was happy to design the logo and build this site for Passion 4 Community. Because the Great Stuff Awards team planned on conducting surveys in front of local businesses as well as online, the look needed to be very approachable and friendly. They also wanted it to be slightly edgy to keep the feel of main sponsor, New Life Christian Church, which works hard to appeal to folks who don’t already go to church. We responded with a bold, razor sharp splash combined with bright color and a typeface that has a cartoony yet credible look. The site is still up but the survey has been completed and results will be published soon. www.greatstuffawards.com
